The Court of Appeal heard the Class Representative’s appeal against the CAT’s judgment limiting damages in this way.
26 July 2024
The CAT hands down its judgment granting the CPO. The CAT also adjudicated on the Sixth Defendant’s strike-out application. The CAT ruled that the Class could not claim damages for the value by which BSV Coins would have increased, had they not been de-listed by the Defendants, from the date on which the Class could reasonably have discovered the delisting.
5-7 June 2024
The Claim has set down for a three-day certification hearing. After this hearing the Tribunal will decide whether to certify the Claim as suitable for Collective Proceedings and whether to certify the Class Representative. Following the Competition Appeal Tribunal granting BSV Claims Limited permission to serve the Claim on those proposed Defendants outside England and Wales, the final foreign proposed Defendant was served through official channels.
